My MISSION

After 12 years of advanced and trauma-informed bodywork experience, I now help women in the healing and creative arts reclaim their power and aliveness through somatic and energetic recalibration.

I am passionate about facilitating deep transformation on somatic, spiritual, and energetic levels—helping you reconnect with your body as the gateway to your intuition and most authentic self. My work is rooted in the belief that true embodiment is the foundation for discerning, intuitive decision-making and aligned action in life.

I want so much more for you than symptom management or temporary relief. As someone who has walked the path from survival to thriving, I understand what it means to move from operating in survival mode to leading from embodiment. I'm passionate about uncovering the root causes of physical manifestations—understanding how energetic and emotional imbalances show up in your body. Rather than simply releasing what doesn't serve you, my approach focuses on moving through and integrating what arises, creating lasting transformation that honors your full complexity.

Through Diwa Collaborative, I specialize in supporting seasoned seekers—therapists, coaches, healers, and caregivers ready to go deeper than other modalities they've tried. I work with burnt-out creatives and entrepreneurs who are ready to lead from embodiment rather than hustle and sacrifice. And I hold space for complex trauma survivors reclaiming their bodies, self-trust, and power after narcissistic abuse and codependent patterns.

This work isn't about fixing you; it's about remembering who you've always been beneath the layers of protection, trauma, and conditioning. It's about reclaiming your power, your pleasure, your voice, and your most authentic expression—moving from survival mode thinking to creative flow, from enmeshment to healthy boundaries, from dissociation to embodied aliveness.

Heather’s SPecialties

Most sessions are a blend of the following techniques, but your intention for your session and what I’m guided to work on through my assessement and intuition determines what modalities we will use.

IN PERSON

Facial and Cranial Work (Intraoral/jaw, orbital/eye, and occipital/head and neck)

Great for folks who need relief from TMJ syndrome, sciatica, neck and shoulder pain, night grinders, stress clenchers, migraine-sufferers, and those recovering from trauma to the face, chin, head, and anyone with dental, sexual, or gynecological trauma. One of the reasons for this is because our jaw and hip fascia is connected, so our jaws can be affected by pelvic trauma as well.

Our eyes or not only the windows to our souls, but they also need gentle tending to. When orbital muscles are fixated and hyper-focused due to stress and overuse, this can lead to balance and neuromuscular issues. I reprogram the eyes by using a combination of delicate massage, eye movement, and guided imagery.

Somatic Bodywork

This interactive method of bodywork incorporates guided visualization, intuitive verbal prompts, breathing, stretches, and gentle touch to help you to make a mind-body connection to areas of your body experiencing muscular amnesia due to chronic pain, tightness, limited range of motion, chronic stress, trauma, disassociation, and more. Increases breathing capacity and ease by releasing fascia surrounding the diaphragm, rib cage, and thoracic spine and more. Helps to get you out of fight/flight/freeze and move out of stuckness and to feel more embodied in a safe way. Increases ROM, helps to gently increase body proprioception and awareness of movement, mobility, and will teach you tools to self-sooth your nervous system in any situation.

Neuromuscular Reprogramming (NMR)

This bodywork has been a game-changer in my own healing, alignment, and muscle function. Passive range of motion (ROM) techniques and 2-second, light resistance muscles tests will be used to gather information and determine which muscles to release in order to activate inhibited/inactive muscles. These tests also serve the very important function of presenting your brain with a mirror so that it can receive feedback on its performance, which encourages it to make immediate changes to how it sends energy to your muscles. This looks and feels like immediate muscle activation in previously inactive or compromised muscles - meaning you will feel more balanced and usually more energized because there is less energy being dedicated to inefficient holding patterns in your body.

Some or all of the following techniques may be used during your session: Guided meditation, trigger-point release (MFT) gentle and rhythmic rocking and shaking techniques, deep tissue, assisted stretching, and more.

Guided Breathwork, Meditation, and Visualization

There are many types of breathwork. Some are great for calming and slowing down the nervous system, and other times the goal is to move stuck energy and emotions by speeding up the breath and intensifying it. People who have experienced plant medicine ceremonies often say that the emotional release and shift in perspectives that they achieve during breathwork are similar to when they have been in healing circles. Some people want to get up and move their bodies during a session. Others get the “healing hands” (when they feel like they’re buzzing and vibrating), and feel called to shake them out or move them to places in their bodies that are holding pain or stuck emotions while consciously breathing into those areas. Emotional releases can be big and loud, or quiet and imperceptible. No matter what your intention or experience is, we will move through it gently at your body’s pace.

Somatic & Energy Alchemy

As a certified Somatic Mind-Body coach, I have developed a unique way of approaching somatic work over the years that borrows from Hakomi, SRI (Somato Respiratory Integration), parts work, and more.

We follow your body’s guidance on where to focus and flow in the session. This work can be done lying down, sitting, or standing. Sometimes sessions will take an artistic approach where you will draw or paint your felt sense and as we work, you will see the shift in your energy and felt sense reflected back to you on paper. Sometimes a more movement-based approach is taken, depending on your energetic state, physical-ability, stage of healing, and needs.

Instead of forcing a goal on or trying to fix your body, we honor where it is by being lovingly curious, and through that acceptance and witnessing, you experience your stubborn holding patterns and perspectives shifting, a-ha moments and realizations, and harmony between your mind, body, and spirit and different parts.

You will experience more connection to your body, and intuition, more clarity, groundedness, peace, and embodiment which leads to an easier time connecting with and being in relationship with others, making aligned decisions, and overall aliveness.

ThetaHealing

I am an Advanced ThetaHealing practitioner and practice this modality quite differently than how I was taught. ThetaHealing is an interactive energy work modality done while in a theta brain wave (that sweet spot between waking and sleep). Every session is different because it depends on what you intend to work on, clear, and/or manifest, and what I am guided to work on. If one does not believe in the existence of a higher consciousness (something bigger than you and I), then this type of healing may not be recommended at this time because your subconscious will likely block much of the healing.

Limiting belief systems come to light during our conversation in which I will ask guiding questions and hold space for your subconscious mind to unfold. These belief systems are looked at during a meditative state because it enables you to share from an open state of mind without judgement or defensiveness, and helps us uncover and remove what is no longer serving you, and to transform your beliefs in order to attract abundance and to live a happier, healthier life. Letting go of limiting beliefs and replacing them with more ideal ones can lead to physical healing and energetic frequency upgrades.

While doing ThetaHealing, the following other methods of healing will often occur as a natural next step depending on your needs and comfort level.

Ancestral Healing

An intention is set to call in only our most healed and well-intentioned ancestors and guides for protection, support, guidance, and wisdom. Ancestors are not limited to blood relatives, but include adoptive families, caretakers, and “spirit babies”. Ancestors may also be guides, but guides are not limited to beings that once lived on earth. Sometimes they are ascended masters, angels, deities, and pets. This work can dip into the realm of family constellations but IS NOT family constellations.

Inner Child Healing

This ties into the parts work and ancestral healing, and is powerful for self-love, acceptance, and compassion.

Reiki Level II

Distance healings are effective for realigning your energy centers in your body and energy field, promoting relaxation and peace, releasing pain caused by stagnant energy and emotions, and are great for when you need gentle, passive work.

You have two options for Reiki healing with me:

1) Send me an email or voice note beforehand to ensure that I have all the information I need before your reiki session. Schedule an online session, but feel free to go about your day and do not attend the zoom meeting if you are busy. I will record the session and include any insights or downloads I received.

2) Schedule an online session with me over Zoom that will last 60-minutes. No call beforehand is necessary.

Past Life Regressions

I cannot guarantee that you will experience the memory of a past life resurfacing in an energy work session, but this can happen naturally when going into a Theta brainwave (akin to being asleep or deep meditation) and through my own method of doing body-based parts work and inquiry.
